Pantry Project

The ESDF has teamed up with SHARE of Vancouver to provide our high school students and their families with food and personal staples. Referred to as the "Pantry Project", each high school has a dedicated location where students in need can pick up a bag of non-perishable food & personal items.

Counselors are available in each school to assist students and no forms to complete.

Nearly one half of the children in the Evergreen Public Schools qualify for the Washington State free and reduced lucnh program. The vast majority of these students currently come from homes without the means to provide proper nutrition and basic needs.

The Pantry Project is sustained purely by donations from the community. All donations are accepted at the program's central donation location at Evergreen High School and distributed to the five schools for student pick-up. You can help!

Suggested donation items:

Food - Rice, Noodles, Boxed pasta, canned meats and vegetables, sauces, soups, etc.
Personal Items - Toilet paper, deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, tissues, soaps, shampoos, conditioner.
